Cold winds and dry warm indoor air affect your skin making it very susceptible to the environment and since we can't always go to Florida on a whim here are some tips to help salvage your skin this winter:
-always use sunscreen, even if it is not sunny outdoors the sun reflects off of the snow and will damage your skin
-help with dry skin by taking a warm not hot shower and using a humidifier
-use a great moisturizer such as Clinical Care drench moisturizer, also Clinical Care moisture seal which will lock in moisture but will allow your skin to breathe.
Because the skin has greater difficulties shedding in the colder months a chemical peel will help shed dead dry skin and help your moisturizer penetrate more deeply.
